Colorful Earphones

I turned on America's Next Top Model reruns. sat down at my computer to write, and this is what happened:

Oh, hey Thor. He's a big baby. Shortly after this picture was taken, he proceeded to try to climb up on my shoulder and curl up to sleep. He found he was too big for that anymore and hopped off. How embarrassing!

Anyways, this here is my latest crafting endeavor!

I had about enough of my earphones tying themselves in hopeless knots in my bag. I got the idea from picture I found posted in Pinterest of other people doing the exact same thing. I couldn't find a tutorial, but it is pretty obvious it's just a simple "friendship bracelet knot", which I'm sure any girl who has been to summer camp or has been 12 years old before would know. It turned out to be a little more time consuming that I thought, but they turned out really cute! And they do NOT get tangles no matter how far to the bottom of my bag they go. Best ever!

I'm working on some awesome and eco-friendly wall art right. It's a process, but hopefully I will be able to finish it soon! It's comprised of only papertowel tubes. Sometimes toilet paper tubes work, but only if the paper comes off cleanly, which rarely happens with toilet paper. I'll post some pictures when it's farther along. I'm getting anxious for it to be done; it's going to be SO cute!

TOTALLY CHANGING EVERYTHING

Well, hello. I dug up my old blog, read all 12 of my posts, and decided to start again. I'm no longer living in Orlando, so I'm not working at the lovely preschool I always wrote about. Sad! I still miss those kids. Since then, I've moved back to Orange Park, got married (love you Brennan), and went back to school for court reporting (super fun). I also am currently working at my church as the assistant to the Children's Ministries director; or as I like to call it, assistant to the assistant regional manager (Office fan alert).
All that to say, I no longer have access to silly stories from silly four year olds. "But you just said you worked in Chidren's Ministries?" Yes. Yes I did. But I do office work during the week and check them in on Sunday morning and then herd them to their rooms. Not much interaction. Occaisionally I'll get something blog worthy, but not often.
So where is this blog going? I don't know. Probably a lot of rambling about school / work...epic crafternoons I embark on...styles I'm wearing...cat videos...hard to say. This post is the awkward transition between the two so don't judge me yet. I talk as if I have 394709235156 followers who have been waiting with bated breath for me to return and at last resurrect this blog from the dead. I'm sure that's probably the case. No fears! I have returned!
